Google Review Kato N Scale Single Crossover Unitrack

  1. Surprised I haven't seen mention of this notwithstanding (maybe I missed it). A welcomed addition to the double-track, concrete tie line.

Looking forward to the outset review. I'g specifically interested in hearing if the imbedded #four turnouts have the better point configuration similar the #vi turnouts, or if they retain the individual #4 "bug."

  2. I saw it on another forum (and the Kato newsletter) but non here. Cool new runway piece merely I wonder if they could take done better with a solid wooden tie version. Maybe they'll do one eventually.

For me, it's a twenty-four hour period late/dollar brusk. I could have used a couple on my last layout where I was using the concrete tie track. But my new layout is but wooden ties so that I tin "backdate" if I want to.

I'yard sure I'll buy some somewhen. I still have my concrete tie track and so I'm certain information technology will get used at some point for something.

  3. pitiful fellas, kato cancelled the xx-230 and 20-231 project most a year agone .saw this on their twitter acct.

Beloved Santa / Wife / online train pusher,

  8. They were originally announced in 2013 and were cencelled in early 2014, merely accept now been ready for release in the US. Apparently they have already been released in Asia. Perhaps they were having product bug or just waiting for enough interest to justify production. Whatever the reason was for the delay, we should start seeing them online and at your LHS one-time in January
  9. That's a dainty addition to the Kato Unitrack lineup.

  10. Physical ties can be colored with a paint pen . I colored my physical double rails and weathered my black necktie track with a couple paint pens .

  12. These turnouts are for sale on Ebay. They are listed at $31.50 each, plus $7.fourscore for shipping. They are airtight for the holidays until January 4. I've ordered from them before, as their prices are meliorate than any other online retailer I've come across for Kato products, and accept always been satisfied with their service. Shipping charges are more than fair considering the distance and take 8-fourteen days.

  13. Am I missing something? The individual Kato #iv turnouts can already be configured similar that for 33mm track spacing. It is the #half-dozen turnouts that don't take that spacing bachelor except for the double crossover that combines 4 of them with a diamond. I would have rather seen the single crossover in #6s with 33 mm spacing, because I am using individual #4s at present to become that.
  14. The individual #4s are wood necktie, these are concrete. Seen them on eBay simply don't have a demand for the concrete variety.
  15. I concur. Having a single crossover with #6 turnouts would have made more sense. I'm not quite sure why the conclusion was fabricated to use #iv'due south. I accept single crossovers using #6 Unitrack turnouts on my layout, information technology can exist done, you lot simply have to apply the 20160 curves to create the proper parallel track spacing. Information technology'southward not platonic, but it's 1 those Unitrack compromises you lot have to brand if you desire to use two #6 turnouts to create a crossover.

Please, everyone, caution in mentioning specific retailers. If you want to point a member towards a detail location, keep in min our Retailer Policy and consider using Individual Letters.
  17. The terminal time I tried sending a PM including the proper name of that pop dealer located nigh Baltimore, the machine-censor blotted out the dealer's name from the body of the message. It seemed that the automobile-censor had a "global" reach that included PMs rather than merely forum postings. Has this issue been stock-still or will information technology still occur?
